Rewak, S.J. Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Santa Clara University) presented her essay “Technology and Self-Cultivation: Meeting the Challenges of Jesuit Education in an ‘On–Demand’ Culture.”

Description: Members of the Philosophers in Jesuit Education took part in a panel discussion at the annual meeting of the American Catholic Philosophical Association in November 2016. The topic was “Reflecting on the Place of Philosophy in University Education Today.” The panelists were Fr. James Heft (Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies), Richard Taylor (Marquette University), and Thomas Kavanaugh (University of San Francisco).
